Terms of use
Last updated August 2026
Whiteboard is provided free, as-is. This page is a plain-language summary of the basic terms, not a substitute for a lawyer-drafted agreement, if this app is used for something where that matters, have these terms reviewed for your situation.
Using the app
You can use Whiteboard without an account. If you create one, you're responsible for keeping your password private and for what happens under your account. Don't use the service to store or share anything illegal, or to attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to it.
Your content
Whatever you draw or write is yours. We don't claim ownership of it, and we don't look at it unless you explicitly report a problem or ask us to.
No warranty
The service is offered without guarantees of uptime, fitness for a particular purpose, or that it will always be free of bugs. Boards saved only to your browser can be lost if you clear site data, switch browsers, or your device is lost or reset, that's exactly why the optional account and cloud saving exist.
Changes
These terms may be updated as the app changes. Continuing to use Whiteboard after a change means you accept the updated terms.
