Is Whiteboard actually free?
Yes. There are no paid plans, no subscription, and no feature locked behind payment. The whole app, including cloud saving once you create an account, is free.
Do I need to make an account to use it?
No. Open a board and start drawing right away. Your work saves automatically to your browser's local storage. An account is only useful if you want a board to follow you to a different browser or device.
What happens to my board if I never sign in?
It stays in that browser's local storage, the same as before you had an account option at all. It won't appear on another device unless you sign in and save it to your account from there.
Can I export what I draw?
Yes, as a PNG image, a scalable SVG, a print-ready PDF, or the board's raw JSON data for backup or re-importing later.
Does it work on a phone or tablet?
Yes, it runs in any modern browser and responds to touch the same way it responds to a mouse or stylus.
Is my saved data secure?
Passwords are hashed, sessions use a signed cookie a script can't read, and every board you save to your account is only ever visible to your own account.
